Overall 97 salmon were caught on our beats with an excellent average weight of 5.35 kilos. Our guests landed 6 crackers over 10.00 kilograms and 19 large salmon from 7.00 to 10.00 kilograms. 79% of caught salmon were released. We would like to thank our guests for this exceptional behavior for the conservation of this extraordinary fish. We are also very pleased that many of our regular guests and some newly added fishermen have allready booked "their" salmon week for the 2017 season again. We ask you to contact us in the near future if you are interested in a rod on our productive beats during the "Prime Time" 2017.

ORKLA 2016

Once again we confirmed the very high quality of Salmon fishing on our popular beats at the Orkla. Almost during the entire season unusually low water levels has dominated the Orkla. We had very few rainfall during the whole season. Cool temperatures in mountainous areas in the catchment area had a continuous, very slow snowmelt result. . All the more pleasing for the angler on the river was the fact that the fish did not let discourage the unsuitable water and the salmon Run's took place as usual. . For less experienced salmon fishermen, the fishing turned temporarily to a serious challenge. Continually were observed numerous salmon jumping on the beats. However, the fish were sometimes miss the required aggressiveness so that sometimes the catch of a salmon has been difficult. The cause of the temporary tentative biting behavior of the fish was long periods with uniformly low water level. However, overall we look back to a prime season. We may lifting the fact that Brushölen has acquired significant quality since 2016 because the beat is now fished on both bank only by our guests. Brushölen was our most productive Beat in 2016 !
